Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been busy with other stuff.

I made the ship server save data once every 5 minutes once again and also, finally, as a much requested feature now start up all 3 servers into the system tray instead of taskbar stuff that can't be taken off the bar.

Here's a shot of it:

I'll be releasing all 3 shortly, I just need to check something out with the login.

FOmar guy (don't know his name) is the patch server icon.
Sue is the login server icon.
Karen is the ship server icon.

Nicely done. Less annoying now lol Anything else added? Actually, you'll probably answer that with the release notes :p

I don't think there was an NPC FOmar (besides CAL from Seat of the Heart). I'd call him Break from Episode III

About that SQL change, will I need to make that change in my database or was it just a broken .sql file on your end?

Somewhat broken... I noticed when I reimported my SQL stuff after I formatted my computer, new accounts couldn't be added because an SQL error stated the two variables couldn't be NULL.

After I changed it, adding new accounts worked.

It could just be something with the MySQL version I have, but I changed it anyway, since those two can be NULL.

It's not a big deal if everything's working on your end already.

Quote:

------------------------
- Since a new Vista EXE was released, now enforces client executable
1.25.10 for both Vista and XP. (This should be done to make sure
that clients are in-sync.)
- Startup time reduced.

Wassup, all.

Ship v0.097 for your amusement

Quote:
version 0.097 10/24/2008
------------------------
- Reduced amount of memory used.
- Preliminary battle mode support. Free roam battle and Rule #1 are
the only battle types supported. (Other rules will work soon, I just
need to log all the starting equipment from the other rules...)
Battle records do NOT save at the moment.
(Be sure to copy the new battle.ini and battle/quest.lst from the
ship archive's quest folder to your own ship's quest folder.)

Ack, I'm always doing this.

If you downloaded v.097 before I posted this message, redownload it, otherwise in Battle mode outside of quests, only common Mines stuff will drop. >_>

New ship, ya'll, with the remaining battle modes supported. Very Happy

Quote:
version 0.100 10/28/2008
------------------------
- Some modifications to the equip item procedures in hopes that
it doesn't lose track of the currently equipped item...
- Also made some changes to the fetch character data procedure
which checks to see if there is more than one weapon, armor,
shield or mag equipped in the data for any reason. Should it
encounter more than one of either equipped, it will un-equip
everything.
- Fixed a bug in battle mode where your permanent material usage
could be messed up.
- Fixed level sync bugs in battle mode.
- Added remaining battle modes. (Update your quest.lst file in the
battle folder to the one in the ship archive...)
- Battle records still not saving at the moment...

Very minor bug fix...

Quote:
version 0.101 10/29/2008
------------------------
- Fixed Battle Rule #4's starting level in the code.
(Was set to level 1 when in reality, the clients start
at level 2.)
- Fixed command trigger to reset battle stats when
restarting game.

Long overdue, most likely:

Quote:
version 0.102 10/30/2008
------------------------
- Removed NiGHTS NPC support (for now), added
/npc 8 (Momoka)
/npc 9 (Irene)
/npc 10 (Guild Lady)
/npc 11 (Nurse)

server, located @ https://www.pioneer2.net/npc_patch_103008.zip
