Had some spare time @ work...
Quote: |
version 0.081 9/26/2008
-----------------------
- Changed Hit Material's frequency to 0 instead of dropping a
monomate instead.
- Fixed server meseta count being off after selling grinded common
weapons, common equipment with variable stats, and techniques to the
shop. (This would cause the server to disconnect you when buying
things from the shop or depositing gained meseta after selling items
from an area run.)
Please remember to copy shop2.dat from the archive's shop folder into
your own shop folder or else the ship will not load.
- Fixed S-Rank equippable information.
- S-Rank King's special now works.
- Fixed slime splitting bug where sometimes non-rare slimes, split from
another, didn't appear rare when they should have.
- Changed the way created items appear in the GM log.
- New GM command /give only usable by global GMs.
It functions the same as /item, mostly, 'cept the item appears directly
in your inventory instead of on the ground first. |

You know it would help to say which kind of item they are selling first, may help narrow it down. |

but even still i dont know what item he tried to sell that d/c in the first place but i made the shield to confirm the bug still occured |

d00d, what is this?
"0102xx02,01020304,01020304,01020304"?
lol... if you created the item outside of normal parameters, the server won't add any meseta to the client.
Normal shields/barriers min/max variation is 5,5
I know the prices for those things work just fine... but if you created an item with bad parameters, the server won't truly add anything to the client. |

Core Shield min/max is 5,5 (in fact all common shields min/max is 5,5)
so use
/item 01020200,00000500,05000000,,
Don't blame the server when you don't know how to make shields properly ;o |

that wasnt the issue, the issue was my friend and I we're ttfing and he was off doing his own thing and he went back to P2 to sell items and got d/c. with the bug. the invalid items i made had nothing to do with this but we haven't been able to reproduce it yet so im wondering if it was jsut a fluke. still worth looking in to IMO |

Okay, there was some bug in there, but I fixed it.
Anyway, bug reports should go to the appropriate topic... and now that we've got that out of the way...

version 0.082 9/27/2008
-----------------------
- Found a bug in the new shop code with shields.
- Changed shop code to give minimum amount of meseta when armor
or shield is sold with variation past limits. |

EDIT: Okay, now the above link is safe to download. (I noticed another bug that I had to fix... so yeah... fixed and you can download now!) |

Temporary workaround for weapon calculation...
Quote: |
version 0.083 9/27/2008
-----------------------
- Adjust some calculations for the shop again. Weapon calculation
is still off... I'm making progress and have figured out a key
thing in generating weapon prices.
Right now the calculation is really close (it was before, but sometimes, say, would generate 6512 instead of 6513)
It will now sometimes give you an extra meseta (1) instead of shortchanging you...
- You will no longer be disconnected from the bank, temporarily,
if your meseta count is not what the server expects. However, you
will only be able to deposit what the server thinks you have.
(You can sync your meseta by depositing it all into the bank,
leaving the bank, revisiting the bank and withdrawing it,
if need be...) |
Anyways, grab @ https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_ship_v.083.zip |

version 0.084 9/28/2008
-----------------------
- Shop weapon calculation should now be pretty damn accurate.
Problems with it, let me know!
- Re-enabled disconnection at bank for depositing more meseta
than you have.
- Truly fixed S-Rank equippable information this time.
- Fixed Love Rappy drop index. Love Rappies should appropriately
drop their rare now.
(You will have to copy the new weappmt.bin in the archive's param
folder to your own param folder or else the ship will fail to
start.) |

If you make sure to have the skin on your client and the option enabled in ship.ini, then yes using /npc 11 will turn you into NiGHTS. (Make sure to use default customization options on a character before turning it into NiGHTS... Well, that's my recommendation anyway...)
I also recommend the patch be added to the patch server so that anyone connecting to your server doesn't FSOD when NiGHTS is used. |
