If one you play a server a patch to put in a folder "Data". But if with friends all files are put in... spsos_login_v.041\patches\data. During calling in game patches will automatically be downloaded and will be established.
Soda, good work! But unfortunately after command introduction/npc 8-11 they do not work for me. As was and with form Nights. The client I use last from 09/28/2008. |

You need to put the patch on your patch server and then patch your client... (put the patch under patches\data in your login server folder, then restart your patch server)
The NPCs work fine as long as you do this and make sure you use default character stuff...

Bugfix regarding government quests:
Quote: |
version 0.103 11/1/2008
-----------------------
- It is now no longer possible to complete government quests out
of order.
Previously, for example, a player could join a 3-2 game in progress
when they only had completed up to 2-1. Then, when the
player clears the 3-2 game, they find out they can now pick 3-3
from the government quest list. This has been corrected.
In addition to this, players can also no longer join government
quests for which they are not qualified to join. So, using the
previous example, if the player who's only completed up to 2-1
requests the lobby game list and sees a 3-2 game in progress,
that game is greyed out. Attempting to join the game will inform
the player that they need to progress further in the game to
be able to join that quest. |

Some new binaries:
Login v0.042
Quote: |
version 0.042 11/4/2008
-----------------------
- IP connection spam check changed for both patch and login
server. Connections will no longer be blocked. There is
now a maximum amount of connetions per IP address and when
that is exceeded, the oldest connection is disconnected
automatically.
- Only works with ship v0.104 or higher. |

Ship v0.104
Quote: |
version 0.104 11/4/2008
-----------------------
- "Promote Teamwork" Edition!
I've added an intentional change from the way SEGA does things
re: Government quests.
You already saw the start of it in 0.103 with the restriction of
players joining government quests for which they weren't qualified
for. However, they weren't stopped from joining a game in which
a government quest was about to be started for which they weren't
qualified for. This has now been changed.
Now, when the party leader accesses the government quest list,
the highest quest for which the party is qualified for will be
shown. So, if player 1 has played and completed up to 4-3 and
player 2 has played and completed up to 1-2 and player 3 has
played and completed up to 2-1, only quests up to 1-3 will be
displayed at the counter.
Help each other progress through the game! (Hence the "Promote
Teamwork" Edition!)
- IP connection spam check changed. Connections will no longer be
blocked. There is now a maximum amount of connetions per IP
address and when that is exceeded, the oldest connection is
disconnected automatically.
- Only works with Login v0.042 or higher. |

Also, Episode I was partially using Episode II's technique data.
This has now been fixed. (Thanks to sad for pointing it out!) |

Some stuff...
Quote: |
version 0.106 11/6/2008
-----------------------
- Now disallows classes from being able to cast techniques they
shouldn't be able to.
- Momoka's Item Present quest opcode now supported. Required
item for quest is /item 03120900,,,,
How you will get this item to your users is a story you make
up yourself! (I plan to automatically drop one in each
character's bank on the Alpha server at Christmas time )
Note: You will have to update your unitxt_shop_j.prs and
unitxt_j.prs file when playing this quest or your client will
freeze when talking to Momoka. |
https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_ship_v.106.zip
Here's the updated PRS files for your clients:
https://www.pioneer2.net/unitxt_j.prs
https://www.pioneer2.net/unitxt_shop_j.prs
Also, here's a new version of my unitxt conversion utility:
https://www.pioneer2.net/convert_unitxt.exe
https://www.pioneer2.net/convert_unitxt.c
There were some bugs with extra spaces on each line and also, sometimes, some creation problems.
The new version uses \n for line breaks for each entry... |

BLAH
Quote: |
version 0.108 11/7/2008

- Fixed the technique checking code I had. It would disconnect
some classes when casting techniques above level 7...
I found out that the level isn't properly portrayed in the packet
I was checking, so I've reworked the technique checking code.
Your technique levels are now only checked when someone joins
a game. Also, you are now prevented from learning techniques
your class isn't allowed to learn.
You still are disallowed from casting techniques your class is
not allowed to cast. (So HUmars can't cast Grants, etc.) |

SQL issue.
for some reason, I'm recieving an error when trying to execute the sql file, I think its because its configured for MySql and I'm using MsSql. but anywho, heres a screenshot.
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/Xx-SYN-xX/PSOsqlError.png
I tried fixing it but to no avail.
-----
but other than that, I've been using the non-sql version with no problem. excellent work. |

Yep, haven't tested or configured the software to work with MSSQL.
The dump SQL was exported with phpMyAdmin and designed for reimporting into MySQL, sorry. |

its no problem, I was just informing you in case you didn't know. I just find that MSSQL is much easier than MySQL. |

- Fixed bug where finding hit percentage attached on a
weapon would just about never happen. This bug occured
after the implementation of ItemPT. (Thanks to
wangzheng8188 for reporting it...)
Please note that the chance for hit percentage to be
attached to a found weapon is low and tops out at about
5% in Episode I, even less in Episode II. This is defined
by the ItemPT file and can be changed by a ship owner
easily. |

1. Nope.
2. Nope.
3. Create a team, put a file named flag.bmp under the teamflag folder (which resides in your client folder), then, as team leader, walk up to the counter in the lobby and select the master menu then flag records...
4. Yeah, it will. Client has no problem with dynamic IPs, but you'll have to keep your outgoing IP updated in both ship.ini and tethealla.ini manually. |
