version 0.132 08/20/2009
------------------------
- Made some modifications to free_game_item and CleanUpGameInventory
procedures. There was actually a bug in the free_game_item procedure.
- Increased the maximum number of saved items by the ship per lobby.
These were added in hopes to combat the XXX item problem that seems to
still be occuring.
Still don't know what could be causing it, but maybe this will fix it?
Anyway, if it doesn't, please note what occured exactly when the problem
did occur and try your best to reproduce it so I can fix it.
Thank you in advance! |

i think definitely we should back to the vr. 131 is more stable, soda can you post the ship_server.c for the 131 ?? 132 is doing a mess more often.
with the 131 the XXX present once each 2 weeks and with 132 present once per week ore more.
thanks. |

version 0.133 09/30/2009
------------------------
- Changed CleanUpInventory, CleanUpBank, and SendItemToEnd procedures...
again.
- Added "/debug" command to save character data files in the ship server.
This command can be used by everyone, once per connection to a block.
When this command is used, a file named "gc#charname.bbc" is created
in the same folder as ship_server.exe
This will make it easier for people who run servers to send me glitched
character data so I can, hopefully, have more insight into the elusive
"???" problem as I still cannot replicate it and no one has figured out
a definitive way to make it occur yet. |
https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_ship_v.133.zip
Really, at this point, if what I changed doesn't fix it, I'm pretty much stumped and will have to give up on the problem unless I get some character data as well as a way to get this problem to occur 100% of the time.
I can't seem to cause it myself. *shrug* It's actually one of the many reasons I haven't really done much more to the source. Would suck if I had to rewrite the whole thing and I am just not in the mood for that! |

I don't know what changes you made to your login server, but ship server v.133 is definitely compatible with v.045 cuz I tested it lol!
Just tested it again, with both the distributed versions of 45 and 133 and they both work fine.
Anyhow, I want the data after the inventory becomes partially corrupted. I'd prefer the BBC file. Thanks! |

You update the login with your changed encryption? Then compiled the ship source in the source folder? |

Code: |
version 0.134 03/25/2010
------------------------
- Fixed drop problem with Sinow Spigell (Thanks Lee and Rika)
- Fixed an item corruption issue which can be caused when juggling
items on characters who've used materials. Maybe! (Thanks Lee and Schthack)
(Big gap between this update and the last, there will be another update
sometime soon to fix some quest opcodes and the parsing of the itempt file.
The item corruption issue may need further looking into, but requires more
testing to see if this helped anything at all.) |

Here we go, a most requested feature.
Login server v.046
Code: |
version 0.046 03/26/2010
------------------------
- Implemented a common bank. SQL users will need to execute the
commands to create the bank_data table (See pso_server.sql in the
SQL folder of the login server.) |
SQL:
https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_login_v.046.zip
No SQL:
https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_login_v.046_nosql.zip
Ship server v.136
Code: |
version 0.136 03/26/2010
------------------------
- Added a common bank. Access by using the /bank command before talking to
the teller. Use /bank to switch between the character and common bank. |
https://www.pioneer2.net/spsos_ship_v.136.zip
Note: It is with great laziness to report that I did NOT test the common bank with the SQL version of the server. I'm pretty sure it will work, though.
I recently blew away my rig and installed Windows Server 2008, haven't been bothered to set up the web server, SQL server, and phpMyAdmin. I'll get around to it, though.
Let me know if the SQL one is faulty, but it shouldn't be. Just remember to create the "bank_data" table before using this release.
The specs for the bank_data table are in the pso_server.sql file in the SQL folder of the archive.
Again, if you're using the SQL version, CREATE THE BANK_DATA TABLE BEFORE YOU RUN THE SERVER.
Also, it goes without saying, that due to the structure changes, previous ship servers aren't compatible with the new login server.
Will be uploading a new code archive shortly. |

Oh, both of those suggestions are easy, I could see about working them into it.
Most likely not until next week, though. Lee wants me to fix the PT loading, so maybe around that time, since I have Spring Break then.
Still don't know when and if I'll ever get around to Challenge mode...
But your suggestions are easily doable. |

Has ANYONE with the SQL version tested the common bank yet? I just want to confirm it works! |
