... at least, not for a long time.
I've been investigating how their proxy blocking technique works and actually pretty much figured the majority of it out.
The only thing I have to do is analyze the cleverly hidden, but not really since I already found it, code to be able to reverse it and have the proxy able to decrypt/encrypt again.
However, I really don't have any interest in doing this. I told both Lee and Crono, even before the new cipher was in place, I probably wouldn't update my proxy (at least not the public version) if they changed the encryption.
I'm actually getting tired of the PSO scene again and probably will be leaving it for awhile after I make a couple of final, for now, updates to the ship software.
That also means I probably won't finish up challenge and battle mode before I leave either.
Right now I'm debating whether or not to release the source code to the ship while I take my break or not, maybe some other people can work on challenge and battle while I'm gone.
Then again, I might just return some months later and knock it out in a weekend or two. Who knows?!
Anyway, the smart ones within your ranks (wherever they are) could probably find out what Schthack's doing with the client in order to block proxies.
I'll give you a hint, the majority of the shit that's going down isn't in the main client executable. |

I'll give a second hint, hook ws2_32, to find the key encryption, and reverse it. |

Even if you did reverse-engineer the initialize, encrypt, decrypt routines there are a few more hurdles to jump over (@ least 1).
:O How does he know? |
